NetMotion Mobility wanted a large-scale campaign to fill their funnel with a lot of marketing qualified leads (MQLs) that their sales team could work to convert. In the past NetMotion had only focused on one channel and word of mouth to acquire customer.
Through the history of the company they had always leaned towards a magic theme but had never completely embraced it for all their communications. We decided to leverage that idea and push it to the next level by creating characters that personified the five main traits of their technology.
I worked with a freelance illustrator to develop the campaign characters and infographic. After that I leveraged the design to build out the rest of the campaign including social, ad banners, oversized playing cards to hand out at tradeshows, microsite, and direct mail featuring a custom 8-ball.
I also worked closely with the web development team to create the engaging online experience and designed a fun online runner game for customer enjoyment.
